Fairytale Orlické Mountains

Route: Šerlich - Orlické Záhoří - Mostowice - Lasówka – peat bog - Zieleniec - Čihalka - Šerlišský mlýn - Šerlich /44 km/

Short description:

In the Orlické Mountains, there is an endless number of natural beauty spots and tourist attractions waiting for you. The trail ends at the peak of Šerlich in the Orlické Mountains at a height of 1,019 metres above sea level close to the Czech-Polish border with its landmark, the Masaryk Chalet, which is found at the summit, standing on the site of the former settlement of Scherlichgraben, which was founded at the turn of the 18th century. Looking around from the chalet, you can enjoy magnificent views of both the Czech and the Polish side of the border, with the peak of Velká Deštná forming the landmark of the southern horizon. Covered by forest, this is the highest peak of the Orlické Mountains.
