Mountains creeks and rivers and Orlické Mountains ponds are the home to many species of fish. They are so numerous that several villages derive their name from it. There are four villages called Rybná (Fish village).
Pond Dubenec - this pond offers carps, amurs, pikes, catfish. Fishing is available in weekend and holidays. (+420 774 516 572, Častolovice – Libel)
Sports Fishing Marian Šípoš - We offer the sport fishing (catch and let go) on the private pond in Kostelec nad Orlicí. The pond is well occupied by a large spectrum of fish which enables the fishing by different techniques and baits. Fishing Farm Lípa - the pond is located on the right side of the main road from Lípa nad Orlicí to Týniště nad Orlicí. It is a private pond. The summer season starts in March and finishes in September; when the weather is good, you can fish also in ice holes. Accommodation also possible. (+420 724 184 492, www.rybacka.cz, Lípa nad Orlicí)

Pond Rychnov nad Kněžnou - When you have the member permit of the East-Bohemia region, you can fish in ponds that belong to the fish association of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. You can fish on pond in Kačerov (4 ponds), Javornice, pod Liberkem (2 ponds) and Ivanské lake. You can buy the fish permit for one day or one week in the fish shop in Rychnov nad Kněžnou, Svatohavelská street. (+420 737 431 557, Rychnov nad Kněžnou)
The sport fishing is organized by the Czech fishing association via its local organizations (mo). Over 200 fishing districts are available in the Hradec Králové region, they include all running water in the region, flooded sand pits and chosen ponds. Districts are divided according to the type of water and available fish - trout and coarse fishing waters.

Detailed information, addresses and contacts of local organizations, including district maps, permit prices etc. are available at www.rybsvaz.cz. The East Bohemia regional association and chosen local organizations issue permits for foreigners with validity of 1 day, week, month or year. The permit is valid together with the passport and national fishing permit that can be bought at municipal authorities.
