Water sports in Krkonoše Mountains and Podkrkonoší Lawlands

In the Krkonoše National Park (KRNAP) sailing is only possible without motor propulsion on the Labe River. A unique opportunity and unfortunately only once per year, in May, is the opening of Labská dam below Špindlerův Mlýn. Take the upper section if you are experienced or the lower section if you are a beginner. To sail the upper Labe it is necessary to get a permit from the KRNAP information center in Špindlerův Mlýn. The permit is strictly bound to the levels of water in the channel. In other rivers in KRNAP sailing is forbidden.
