The path to the source of the River Elbe

The landscape along this path is full of testimony about the turbulent development of alpine landscape, but also about the tenacious efforts of people to use harsh mountainous countryside to their own prosperity. The path starts in Horní Mísečky, leads past the cairn commemorating tragedy, in which skiers Bohumil Hanč and his friend Václav Vrbata were killed. The path continues to Pančavský waterfall and to Labská bouda (cabin) and to the source of the River Elbe.
