You can fish at many places in the Kladsko Borderland, in flowing as well as stillwaters. It mostly includes the districts of East-Bohemia regional association. The rivers Metuje and Úpa are the most known rivers, stillwaters are represented by the dam Rozkoš and Brodský pond. Detailed information, addresses, contacts, maps and permit prices are available at www.rybsvaz.cz. Besides the fishing permit you need to have also the fishing licence for fishing. They are issued by municipalities according to the domicile of the applicant. Permits are issued by local organization of the fishing association. You can choose the different length of its validity and fishing in trout or coarse fishing waters.

The sport fishing is organized by the Czech fishing association via its local organizations (MO). Over 200 fishing districts are available in the Hradec Králové Region, they include all running water in the region, flooded sand pits and chosen ponds. Districts are divided according to the type of water and available fish – trout and coarse fishing waters.
