Havlovice – wooden road bridge

The covered wooden bridge with a gabled roof converts the turning of the road from Úpice to Libňatov in Havlovice across the River Úpa. The 24 m long bridge has a beam construction.

Horní Dřevíč – museum Mill Dřevíček

The only functioning mill re-opened in the Hradec Králové Region. The unique museum with the exposition of milling and baking equipment from the years 1925-1938. The exhibition of machinery running, miller and his helpers´ work as it took place in a small rural mill in the First Republic. The water spins a turbine and a lot of the original machines and equipment not only for milling, but also for the butter making.

Horní Vlčkovice – smithy

A building of the smithy has three parts. The timbered ground floor with a brick part is covered with half-hipped roof. The shelter supported by wooden carved pillars served mainly for shoeing horses.

Jaroměř – Medieval Bridge

Originally Gothic stone bridge, rebuilt later into Baroque style. The bridge was a part of medieval town´s fortification.

Jaroměř – Tyrš´s Bridge

A bridge across the River Elbe built in the modern style in the years 1931-33.

Nízká Srbská – smithy

In the middle of the village there is situated a timbered smithy from 1799. The facade of the building is covered with hanging roof of the folded shield carried by two stone pillars. In the workroom there is preserved a forge and an anvil and other forge tools.

Otovice – mill

Late Baroque mill on the river Stěnava was built in the late 18th century. In the building there are preserved vaulted ceilings and other original architectural elements.

Police nad Metují – manor smithy

The Baroque building was lined with blocks with a hipped roof covering the protruding porch on circular stone pillars. The facilities of the smithy remained preserved and machinery is in working order even today.

Ratibořice – mangle and water mill

A big water mangle was built in the 20th of the 19th century opposite the mill, with which it shared the water from a common raceway. The water mill and mangle belong among the most important technical monuments of its kind in the country.

Ratibořice – Victoria´s Weir

Original Ratibořice weir, which Barunka knew, was wooden. Its form was changed several times in the past: at first when an extensive irrigation system was constructed for Ratibořice meadows; later with regulations of the river in the first half of the 20th century.

Rtyně v Podkrkonoší – mining educational path

It follows the historically interesting places that left mining craft of four centuries in the history of coal mining. The interesting places are the waste-heaps, caved in mouths of shafts and the remains of bodies of horse tracks.
