Údolí Úpy (Úpa valley) - from Slatinský mlýn to Ratibořice

Pleasant undemanding route leads through romantic countryside along the river Úpa to the popular tourist sport of Babiččino údolí (Grandmother´s valley).

Starting point: car park near Slatinský mlýn (Slatinský Mill)

Route: Slatinský mlýn (Slatinský Mill) – Červený most – Viktorčin splav (Viktorka´s weir) /2 km/ and back; or continue to Ratibořice as far as to the chateau /another 2 km longer/

Jirásek, Červený most (Red Bridge) – technical monument, Bílý most (White Bridge) – technical monument, Babiččino údolí (Babiččino valley) – national natural and cultural landmark, and location of the novel “Babička” written by Božena Němcová
