Náchod chateau of the round hill

There is a wonderful view from the observation tower and the terraces. Children will love the bears Ludvík and Dáša, which they will find in the moat. At the start of the chateau alley there is a game preserve with fallow deer, mouflon and deer. Head down towards Bartoňova villa, in the garden there is a children’s playground which is open to the public.

Route: Masarykovo náměstí (Masaryk Square) – approach the chateau by the stairs – the game preserve - Bartoňova villa – back to the square on Tyršova street /3 km/

Points of tourist interest along the route: the new town hall, Beránek hotel and theatre, Náchod museum, church Svatého Vavřince, the deanery building, the old town hall with a pillory, Náchod chateau, Bartoňova villa (today Déčko – youth and children’s center)
