Náchod - Peklo

From Náchod we go up to Kramolna. By the chapel behind the road we go on the asphalt road between the fields in the direction of Vysokov (by the church and in the surroundings of the village there are memorials of the battle in 1866). From there along the cycle path no. 4056 over the railway and road bridge, we arrive in Branka to the 13 m high obelisk (battle field of the battle in 1866 – a memorial dedicated to the Moravian cuirassiers of regiments no. 4 and 6; views). The cycle path leads to the church Na Dobeníně in Václavice (the oldest church in the region). The information panels, memorials and crosses in the surroundings of the church commemorate the horror of the war in 1866. After cycling to Šonov we continue along the road through Vrchoviny to Nové Město nad Metují (UNESCO town conversation area). The small road taking us to Peklo half a mile from the square highlights road signs. From Peklo at the confluence of the rivers Olešenka and Metuje with the inn (building from the project of the architect Dušan Jurkovič) and outdoor refreshment we will comfortably cycle through Ostrovy (refreshment) along the new cycle path to Náchod.
