Fishing in Bohemian Paradise

Even it does not look so, the fishing belongs among activities with severe relaxation criteria, because it requires the silence and stay in quiet nature. The Bohemian Paradise, thanks to the River Jizera and several ponds and water surfaces, is an ideal solution for fishing. It is necessary to know given rules that are shown in the following text, together with the summary of districts and fish species.

The citizen who is a member of the Czech Fishing Association and who possesses valid fishing permit and licence for relevant district is authorized for fishing in the fishing district. Also the foreigner who has purchased the fishing permit and licence is entitled for fishing. The foreigner can buy such fishing permit at the relevant municipal office (according to the fishing district where he intends to fish) provided he presents his valid fishing permit or licence of the country in which he is the citizen. In case the foreigner has not any relevant certification of fishing qualification, he can get such certification by passing and an examination or other document of relevant local organization of Czech Fishing Association (depending on the district where he intends to fish) where he had obtained the fishing permit.

The sport fishing is organized by the Czech fishing association via its local organizations (MO). Over 200 fishing districts are available in the Hradec Králové Region, they include all running water in the region, flooded sand pits and chosen ponds. Districts are divided according to the type of water and available fish – trout and coarse fishing waters.
